Loss Of volume control using Sliders.

Hi I seam to have lost the use of the volume sliders on my Bohm 280 CT.

On the left hand side of the Organ under the keyboards is a connected ribon cable. This connects two boards.

When this is connected all the lights on the upper instruments light up,

On operating the modulation wheel they will dim.

If opperating one of the buttons it starts surching.

Although the Volume sliders are lit they will not opperate as they used to.

In this condition I can not use the Organ.

If I disconnect the Ribon cable or remove it,I can use the Organ with out the Volume sliders or the Modulation wheel.

Any answers would be welome.
