280CT / Crystal mixer / Opera 24/40

Hi,

Can anyone tell me if the following updates will work with opera 24/40 - Mega Fun , V6, or do they only work with opera 2000?

Also will the crystal mixer work with opera 24/40.

I have a 280CT.

Hi Chris!

they will work, but not completely! V6 for example contains additional sounds which are working only on Opera 2000. Also the styles of V6 are assembled for LiveDrums 2000.
Regarding the CrystalMixer: Opera 2000 and the following sound boards like Amadeus are using the digital input of the CM. That's not possible for Opera 2440. So the only way to connect an Opera2440 to the CM is the analogue input. But then it wouldn't be posible to play the sounds with their individual reverb and effect inensities anymore.

Is it a requirement to have V6 for crystal mixer? I dont have LD2000 just the older live drums - do they work with crystal mixer?

Hi!

V6 is neccessary to run the CM firmware.
The drums willwork, but they will come together with all the other sounds then on the analogue output. It's not longer possible to mix drums and the other sounds seperately then. And drums and sounds would hae the same reverb And effect then.
